French artificial intelligence lab Mistral AI SAS has announced a €3 billion funding round, equivalent to approximately $3.49 billion. The investment was led by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., with more than two dozen other backers participating, including Salesforce Ventures, Nvidia Corp., and ASML Holdings NV, which had led Mistral’s previous round.
